Make Alignment Adjustments Fast and Accurately...
With the Wheel Removed!
- Wheel-Off adjustments can be made on more than 30% of the vehicles in production
- Eliminate guesswork by using WinAlign® Software Power Tools to make adjustments with the wheel out of the way
- An adjustment feature that will be used everyday
- Feature can be used with either Hunter DSP600 or DSP500 sensors
|
A technician can access the Wheel-Off Adjustment feature from
any adjustment screen within WinAlign® software to quickly
complete correction procedures with the wheel removed.
To prepare the vehicle for wheel-off adjustment, the technician must
remove the wheel and attach the sensor adaptor in one of two ways:
- When using only the optional Sensor Adaptor Kit
(20-1978-1), the sensor adaptor is mounted to the hub using
two wheel lug nuts.
- When using the optional Magnetic Adaptor Kit (20-1979-1)
with the Sensor Adaptor Kit, the sensor adaptor is magnetically
attached to the friction surface of the rotor.
Once the sensor adaptor is attached, the technician slides the
DSP600 target or electronic sensor into the adaptor, tightens the
thumbscrew and is ready to complete the alignment following the
simple, illustrated instructions shown on-screen. |

With Digital Camera Sensors, the WinAlign® Software JackDetect™ Feature Saves Adjustment Time
The JackDetect™ feature automatically triggers the jack up
adjust mode as soon as the technician begins raising the
axle, no console command is required. The Wheel-Off
Adjustment procedure can then be accessed immediately.
Additional time is saved once the adjustment is complete as
the JackDetect feature automatically triggers compensation
when the target is reinstalled on the wheel.
Wheel-Off Adjustment Feature requires WinAlign® 9.0
software and optional adaptor kit 20-1978-1
