EMT sidewalls can be six times thicker than traditional tires.
EMT “Runflat” tires can be driven over 70 miles with zero
air pressure before being damaged.
Traditional sidewalls flatten and quickly become destroyed with zero air pressure.
Pre-1997 electronic pressure sensors are attached in the drop center opposite the valve stem.
1997 and newer electronic pressure sensors are integral with the valve stem.
